Maddy is a fourth-year human development major. She serves as the Welcome Center’s communications team chair. In her free time, she loves to read and spend time with her favorite people.

What’s the best thing about being an Aggie?
The best part about being an Aggie is the amazing and supportive community. I built friendships here that I will hold onto forever.

Ellie is a fourth-year psychology — biological emphasis major. She works as a tour guide on the recruitment team, is the recruitment chair for the Prytanean Women's Honors Society and the lead peer advisor for the Yellow Cluster Advising Department. Ellie loves to thrift, cook and watch TV shows. 

What’s your favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spot on campus is the Craft Center!

Katie Schwenker 

Katie is a fourth-year psychology major with minors in education and sociology. She conducts research with the Collaborative Autism Research in Education Lab and works with Aggie Orientation. Katie enjoys to go on hikes, watch movies and try new crafts.

What’s the best thing about being an Aggie?
UC Davis really emphasizes balance between school, work and fun. That balance plays an essential role in my growth as a student here.

Clover Sutton

Clover is a third-year international agricultural development major with minors in education and African American studies. They regularly assist with operations at the Center for African Diaspora Student Success. In their free time, they read, play video games and identify flowers.

What’s your favorite UC Davis tradition?
My favorite UC Davis tradition is hanging out with the sheep mowers on the Quad!

 

Delaney Bright

Delaney Bright 

Delaney is a third-year human development major and psychology minor. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and works as a nurse assistant in addition to being a tour guide. In between classes, she goes to hot Pilates and tries out coffee shops in Davis!

What’s your favorite spot on campus?
The Memorial Union!

Roan Thibault

Roan is a fourth-year political science — public service major. He loves to get involved in city government at the state capitol in Sacramento. In his free time, he runs through the Davis Greenbelt.

What’s your favorite spot on campus?
I love the western edge of the Arboretum — it's a great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of college life and soak in our lovely weather!

Anna Clayton

Anna is a third-year history and political science double major. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and works at a local preschool. In her free time, she spends time in the UC Davis Arboretum and explores downtown Davis.

What’s the best thing about being an Aggie?
The best part of being an Aggie are the community events and opportunities available on and off campus!

Molly is a second-year community and regional development major. She works as a sports medicine intern at UC Davis. In her free time, she hikes and line dances.

What’s your favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spot on campus is the Student Farm, especially the flower beds, because it’s such a peaceful place to relax and connect with nature.

Kelsie is a fourth-year undergraduate human development major and education minor. She is the president of the Hunter Jumper Equestrian Club and serves as a committee member for The Green Initiative Fund. Catch her getting boba or on the Quad, in between classes. 

What’s the best thing about being an Aggie?
My favorite thing about being an Aggie is the friendly and welcoming community on campus!

Dove De Tapia

Dove is a fourth-year wildlife, fish and conservation biology major. She is the Treasurer of the Vet Aide Club. In her free time, she likes to sing, read and hike.

What’s your favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spot on campus is Agrarian Effort Co-op. 

 

Thomas Kao

Thomas Kao

Thomas is a fourth-year undergraduate history major with minors in English and education. They conduct research that focuses on Asian American experiences and the Age of Globalization. They also serve as a peer Advisor for the College of Letters and Sciences. On the weekends, they cook for fellow students, photograph plants in Davis, and work on short stories and poems.

What’s your favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spot on campus is the top of the Social Sciences and Humanities Building (affectionately known as the Death Star). There is a gorgeous glass bridge that serves as a perfect reading and tranquil cloud watching spot.

 

Samantha Herzig

Sam Herzig

Sam is a third-year art history and plant biology double major with a minor in German. She is an undergraduate researcher who studies millet and vansemberuu, a rare medicinal plant native to Mongolia. In her free time, she loves to drink tea, hike and play cello.

What’s the best thing about being an Aggie?
The best thing about being an Aggie is the opportunity to meet so many interesting and genuinely kind people from all over the world!

Emma is a fifth-year materials science and engineering major. She volunteers regularly with the student run clinic Clinca Tepati. In between classes, she draws and sketches!

My favorite spot on campus is the UC Davis Arboretum!
