A minor in anthropology is an ideal complement to virtually any major at UC Davis. For the minor, the Department of Anthropology offers students a choice among four curricular options:

Do you want to work abroad one day? A major in Chinese is the gateway to the world’s most widely spoken language and to the rich and diverse traditions of a complex society.
How does the mind work? This is the foundational tenet of cognitive science.
The interdisciplinary minor in the history and philosophy of science invites students to examine historical and contemporary problems in a variety of scientific disciplines.
