The UC Davis Consortium for Women and Research Advisory Board has awarded four faculty members the 1998-99 Outstanding Mentor Award. They are Kate Scow, professor of land, air and water resources; Gail Goodman, professor of psychology; Peter Rodman, professor of anthropology; and Vicki Smith, associate professor of sociology. They were commended for mentoring efforts that promote women's research at UC Davis. The award includes $1,000 to be used toward research.
