"The Changing Struggle for Civil Rights in the '90s" is the title of a conference to be sponsored by the American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California Aug. 22-24 at UC Davis. Among the topics to be discussed in workshops and panel discussions are attacks on civil rights in California, the rights of people with disabilities, the death penalty, manipulation of public opinion by the media, reproductive rights and the right to die.
