-- The Latina Network, a committee of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, has given a Lifetime Achievement Award to Adaljiza Sosa-Riddell, UC Davis senior lecturer and director of the Chicana/o studies program, for her contributions toward the advancement of Latinas in the public and private sectors. Sosa-Riddell founded the UC Davis Chicana/Latina Research Institute.
