The emphasis will be on continuing education as the Cal Aggie Alumni Association invites UC Davis graduates back to their alma mater for an Alumni College the weekend of Oct. 29-31. UC Davis faculty and some prominent alumni will be sharing their wisdom on a variety of topical issues, including the U.S. and state economies, the failings of the news media, the genetic engineering of food and product labeling. Families of students will be attending, as well, as part of the campus's annual Family Weekend, which will be held on the same days. A full slate of social, sports and cultural events are also planned for both events.
