The UC Davis School of Medicine tied for 13th in primary care programs out of 87 schools across the country, according to the most recent evaluations released by U.S. News & World Report.
It reviewed selected graduate and professional programs at both public and private colleges and universities.
The biological sciences on campus tied for 20th, and history tied for 25th, among the graduate programs. The UC Davis School of Law tied for 30th out of 174 accredited schools reviewed, the College of Engineering tied for 41st among 219 accredited programs and the Graduate School of Management tied for 31st among 300 accredited M.B.A. programs.
U.S. News & World Report conducts annual reputational surveys of several selected doctoral programs based on scholarship, curriculum and the quality of faculty and graduate students. Professional school programs were evaluated on additional criteria, including placement of students in jobs.
