Christopher Reynolds, associate professor of music at the University of California, Davis, recently received a fellowship from the Humboldt Foundation to live in Heidelberg, Germany, during the coming academic year and complete a book titled "Motives for Allusion: The Representational Aesthetic of Schumann and Brahms." Reynolds also co-founded Beethoven Forum, a journal publishing studies of Beethoven from historical, theoretical and critical viewpoints. It will published annually by University of Nebraska Press.
