-- Bo Lonnerdal, UC Davis professor of nutrition and internal medicine, has been awarded an honorary doctorate in medicine by the University of Uppsala, Sweden, his alma mater, for his achievements in nutrition research and his continued active collaboration with Swedish universities regarding teaching, training and research. Lonnerdal's research focuses on infant nutrition and the physiological significance of breast milk.
