-- UC Davis entomology professor Bruce Eldridge, director of the UC Mosquito Research Program, was awarded the Medal of Honor by the American Mosquito Control Association at its annual meeting in St. Louis recently. The medal, the group's highest award, recognized Eldridge for his research contributions in mosquito biology and systematics. Eldridge is past president of the association and currently serves as editor of the Journal of the American Mosquito Control Association.
