How California's businesses and communities can work together in solving environmental problems is the theme of an upcoming conference sponsored by the UC Davis law school and UC Davis Environmental Law Society. The conference to be held Saturday, Feb. 12, is titled "California Business, Communities and the Environment: Toward a Cooperative Future." Topics to be addressed include reform of the California Environmental Quality Act, habitat preservation, air quality, environmental considerations of business finance, and environmental justice and the free market. The conference will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Roessler Hall on the UC Davis campus.
