UC Davis leads the country in doctoral graduates in the biosciences for the seventh consecutive year, according to a report recently released by the National Research Council. The report shows UC Davis in the No. 1 spot, having conferred 123 doctoral degrees in the biological sciences in the academic year 1992-93, for which the most current numbers are available. The campus has topped the list since 1986-87, the first year that the report included the table showing doctorates by institution and major field.
