The Council for Advancement and Support of Education has selected two projects from the UC Davis editorial design unit for national recognition. Scott Ahrens, senior illustrator, and Jan Conroy, manager of editorial design, created a two-page spread for "The Invisible Disability" in the Spring 1995 UC Davis Magazine that won a Silver Medal for visual design in print. In addition, a brochure for the Robert Arneson endowed chair campaign in sculpture received a Bronze Medal for individual fund-raising publications. The brochure was designed by Laurie Lewis, senior designer, and edited by Maureen Miller, development officer for the UC Davis College of Letters and Science.
