Thousands of high school and community college students and their parents will have an opportunity to "visit" more than 180 colleges when they attend one of the largest college fairs in the nation to be offered on Thursday and Friday, May 9 and 10, in UC Davis' Recreation Hall. College representatives will provide information on access, financial aid, athletics and admission processes. Representatives from colleges and universities across the country will be on hand to provide information about their schools. "It's a great way for parents and students to get answers to questions they may have about a particular college without having to travel to the school," says Cindy Bevc, regional college fair coordinator at UC Davis. The event on Thursday begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. On Friday, the fair begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at noon.
