Cuomo and Quayle to debate on Clinton

Former New York Governor Mario Cuomo will debate former Republican Vice President Dan Quayle at 8 p.m., May 27, at UC Davis. This discussion in Recreation Hall will center on the first 100 days of President Clinton's second term. Cuomo, who now practices law in New York, and Quayle, who serves as a board member of several corporations and writes a weekly newspaper column, have squared off against each other before but not on this topic. John Jacobs, columnist with the Sacramento Bee, will be the moderator for this event, sponsored by UC Davis Student Forums. Cuomo and Quayle will be available for news media interviews prior to their debate beginning at 7: 30 p.m. directly behind the stage in Rec Hall.
