Deal-making Focus of Environmental Law Conference

John McCaull, California legislative affairs director for the National Audubon Society, will be among the featured speakers at the 13th annual environmental law conference at the UC Davis law school on Saturday, Feb. 6. "Environmental Protection and the Art of the Deal" will explore current approaches to environmental issues through broad consensus-like processes, private transactions for conservation, regulations and deal-making. The conference will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Moot Court Room of King Hall. Organized by the school's Environmental Law Society, it is approved for six hours of continuing legal education credit by the State Bar of California. Registration is $20 for the general public and $5 for students.
