-- UC Davis psychology professor Dean Keith Simonton's recent book "Origins of Genius: Darwinian Perspectives on Creativity" (Oxford University Press, 1999) will receive the William James Book Award at the convention of the American Psychological Association in the year 2000. The award "acknowledges those who have made significant intellectual advances in bridging the gaps among psychological subfields, or in relating psychology to other areas of human knowledge."
