Dean Maccannell

-- Day of the Living Dead, an architectural installation created by Dean MacCannell, chair of the UC Davis Landscape Architecture Program in the environmental design department, was recently featured in the Labyrinths show at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Designed in collaboration with Juliet Flower MacCannell, it depicts a life-sized board meeting of the un-dead (bureaucrats, politicians, etc.) plotting ways to block enjoyment of the things ancestors have given to people.
