-- Deborah Luthi, UC Davis director of risk management and benefits, has been elected to the Risk and Insurance Management Society Inc.'s new Board of Directors. The society represents in excess of 4,200 entities in the United States and Canada dedicated to advancing the practice of risk management, a professional discipline that protects organizational resources through management of enterprise risks, i.e. operations, financial, strategic, and technology/knowledge, associated with business decisions. Luthi will represent the society as liaison to several chapters in the region for a year.
