-- Three faculty members from the UC Davis Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics were ranked among the top 2 percent of world economists based on publications and citations: Professor Michael Caputo, Professor Catherine Morrison-Paul and Associate Professor Scott Rozelle. The study by Tom Coupe of the Universite Libre de Bruxelles ranks 55,000 economists and their departments for the five years 1994-98. The average ranking placed economics at UC Davis 21st among all universities in the United States and ninth among U.S. public universities.
