-- Desmond Jolly, UC Davis consumer specialist for agricultural and resource economics and director of the Small Farm Center, has been appointed to an ad hoc committee on small-farms research with the U.S. Department of Agriculture called the National Agricultural Research, Extension, Education and Economics Advisory Board. Jolly will work with the committee to develop recommendations on how the board can improve its output of small- and medium-sized farm-related research and extension.
