A number of UC Davis entries were winners at the 1994 Awards for Excellence program in the Council for Advancement and Support of Education District VII. UC Davis Presents received an Award of Excellence for its individual community relations projects. The Development Office received three awards for excellence: for the Students First fund-raising booklets, brochures, etc.; for its identity programs and logos; and for its volunteer involvement program. The Development Office also received an award of distinction for its case statement. In addition, "Matrix," a publication for physicians and medical science researchers produced by Ellen Robinson-Haynes at the UC Davis School of Medicine/medical center, received an award of distinction.
