More than 75 masks from U.S. and Canadian artists are on display in the biannual "Face the Nation," an international juried mask exhibition.
The masks feature numerous materials including flower petals, fused glass, metal, wood blocks, tissue paper, beads, coffee beans, teeth, fur, horns, paper and clay.
Among the masks are those titled, "Mask of the Spin Doctor," "Pacific Coast Coffee Head: Wired and Tired," "Orphant Annie" and "Tree Spirit."
The jury for this year's exhibition included Victoria Rivers, a UC Davis professor of textile arts and costume design; John Natsoulas, director of the John Natsoulas Gallery; and Boachi Zhang, a UC Davis art professor.
The exhibit is free and open to the public.
