Francine Bradley, UC Davis extension poultry specialist, was recently named the first recipient of the Helen B. Cecil Leadership Award at the annual meeting of the Poultry Science Association. She received an award of $3,000 and a plaque for her sustained scientific contributions in the field of poultry science and her leadership in the promotion and development of opportunities for women in the area of poultry science.
