The director of the Students First fund-raising campaign at UC Davis, Donna Blakemore, has been appointed to a three-year term on the Commission on Alumni Relations for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Blakemore will represent five Western states on a board of 24 involved with alumni affairs, communications and philanthropy. The board's job is to frame and direct research to evaluate professional practices, with an emphasis on the highest ethical and professional standards.
