UC Davis Juried Student Art Show Opens at MU Gallery Exhibition Title: UCD Juried Student Art Show Dates: April 24-May 19 Where: Memorial Union Art Gallery Second floor, Memorial Union University of California, Davis Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday Reception: 5:30-7 p.m., Monday, April 24 This annual juried exhibition is open to all graduate and undergraduate students currently enrolled at UC Davis. The competition includes painting, collage, ceramic sculpture, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, textiles, photography, furniture, crafts, and VHS video. There is no entry fee; entries are limited to three per student. Prizes will be awarded in the form of Purchase Awards, and winning entries will become part of the MU Gallery's permanent collection. The juror for the 2000 UCD Student Art Show is Alex Jackson, Bay Area artist and UC Davis alumnus, M.F.A. 1992. The exhibition and opening reception are free and open to the public.
