Harriet Murav

-- The Modern Language Association of America is awarding its third Aldo and Jeanne Scaglione Prize for Studies in Slavic Languages and Literature to Harriet Murav, UC Davis professor of Russian and comparative literature. Murav received the award for her book "Russia's Legal Fictions," published by the University of Michigan Press. The prize is awarded biennially for an outstanding scholarly work on the linguistics or literatures of the Slavic languages.
