HISTORY OF WOMEN'S MOVEMENT -- In time for Women's History Month, a new book by historian Ruth Rosen, a UC Davis professor, explores how the women's movement changed the United States. "The World Split Open" (Viking) examines the strides of women during last half of the 20th century, challenging readers to understand how the women's movement altered lives forever and why the revolution is not yet complete.
