Hip-hop and life on the streets are what performance artist Danny Hoch will be about for UC Davis students and the general public during a one-man show and a class visit this week. He'll perform "Jails, Hospitals & Hip-Hop" at 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, in the Main Theatre at UC Davis. In addition, Hoch will participate in a master class with students on campus. After the extraordinary success of his innovative show "Some People," he has risen into the ranks of such performance artists as Eric Bogosian, Anna Deavere Smith and John Leguizamo.
