An Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Technology was given to Kenneth Verosub, UC Davis professor of geology, at the Ninth International Conference on College Teaching and Learning. Faculty members representing 50 colleges and universities from throughout the world received awards after being nominated by their presidents and provosts. Verosub received his award for his efforts in creating and directing the Davis Honors Challenge.
