The 1997 Carl J. Norden Distinguished Teacher Award went this year to Mary Christopher, associate professor of clinical pathology in the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Christopher is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists. She joined the UC Davis faculty in 1994 and teaches clinical pathology, in particular, clinical chemistry, cytology and urinalysis.
