Charles Nash, chemistry professor emeritus at UC Davis, has been elected to a two-year term as vice president of the Council of UC Faculty Associations. His duties will include tracking legislation of interest to the statewide faculty group. Nash has been chair of the Davis Faculty Association for several years. Replacing him in that role starting next September will be UC Davis education professor Jonathan Sandoval. The new vice chair will be Ben McCoy, a chemical engineering professor and associate dean of engineering research.
