Barbara Schneeman, UC Davis dean of the agricultural and environmental sciences college, was recently awarded the Commissioner's Special Citation and a Harvey W. Wiley Medal by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. A member of the Science Board Subcommittee, she was acknowledged for her contributions in the advancement of scientific research.
