Honors

John Bruhn, dairy food specialist in the UC Davis food science and technology department, was elected a fellow by the Institute of Food Technologists. Bruhn joins departmental Cooperative Extension colleagues Robert Price, seafood technology specialist, and Robert Pearl, food technology extension emeritus, as the only Institute of Food Technologist Fellows to come from cooperative extension programs from any university. Bruhn has worked with dairy foods processors statewide through research, courses, workshops and lectures to maintain and improve the quality and safety of processed milks and dairy foods.
