Daniel Sumner, the Frank H. Buck Jr. professor of agricultural economics at UC Davis and director of the UC Agricultural Issues Center, has been elected chair of the International Agricultural Trade Research Consortium. The group is composed of academic, government and business economists involved in agricultural trade and policy. This is Sumner's second term on the executive committee.
