UC Davis political science professor Larry Berman has been selected for two national awards. He received the Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship for Residency in Bellagio, Italy, where he will spend this summer. The fellowship is designed to provide scholars and artists an environment for reflection and creativity. In addition, the 1998-99 Woodrow Wilson Center Fellowship has also been awarded to Berman. The honor will allow him to spend the next academic year in Washington, D.C., at the Wilson Center for Scholars. Both awards will facilitate the writing of his new book, "Imperfect Peace," about the end of the Vietnam War.
