The National Institutes of Health has appointed UC Davis genetics professor Raymond Rodriguez to serve as a member of the newly established Advisory Committee on Research on Minority Health. The committee will provide advice to the institutes on research related to minority health, inclusion of minority group members as subjects in clinical research and enhancement of minority participation in research and research training programs.
