The Fiber Society has selected Ning Pan, UC Davis associate professor of textiles and clothing, as one of two lecturers for the 1997-98 academic year and one of five members of the society's governing council. Pan also has been invited to give a keynote presentation at an International Technical Symposium to celebrate "100 Years of Modern Fiber Science."
