UC Davis professor Subhash Risbud, chair of chemical engineering and materials science department, has been named Outstanding Educator by the American Ceramic Society for 1998. He received his honor, a Stueben Glass bowl, after the Student Speaking Contest at the 100th Annual Meeting of the society in Cincinnati last month. Risbud has also received the society's top research award.
