For the excellence of his educational programs in vegetable-crop irrigation, UC Davis Extension Specialist Tim Hartz has received an award certificate from the American Society for Horticultural Science. Hartz, a member of the vegetable crops department, has developed a program called "Drip Irrigation and Fertigation Management of Vegetable Crops."
