Isabel Allende, one of Latin America's most celebrated authors, will speak at UC Davis at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19 in Freeborn Hall. Her presentation on "Women, Politics and the Novel" is sold out. A press conference will be held at 7:15 p.m. in the Fielder Room of the Memorial Union. Since seats are limited for the 8 p.m. lecture, UC Davis Presents asks that media make reservations to attend by 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17.
