-- Jacob Olupona, UC Davis professor of religious studies and African American and African studies, was recently inducted into the International Educators' Hall of Fame at a ceremony at D-Q University outside of Davis. Created by the Youth-on-the-Move Inc., a nonprofit education organization based in Sacramento, the hall honors educators and others who have worked in their field for at least 20 years for their outstanding contributions and having changed lives. Of the 250 people who have been inducted over the past seven years, 81 have been from the Sacramento area.
