-- John Jungerman, UC Davis professor emeritus of physics, has been selected for a 2000 Science and Religion Course Award for his freshman seminar, "Modern Physics, Cosmology and Religions." The $10,000 award, funded by the John Templeton Foundation, will be divided between Jungerman and the campus. Some 83 courses at educational institutions worldwide were recognized for their excellence.
