La Raza Cultural Days Features Family Event

* April 28-May 3, Monday to Saturday -- A family event will climax a week of entertainment and educational programs focused on Chicano and Latino culture. La Gran Tardeada, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, will include live entertainment, a health fair, children's activities, and arts and crafts vendors. La Raza Cultural Days kicks off Monday with outdoor entertainment at noon and an evening concert with Ozomatli. A symposium on Tuesday will focus on multi-ethnic politics. Other activities during the week include a youth conference, art exhibits, and five- and 10-kilometer runs.
