Legal Eagles From Other Countries Study Law at UC Davis

More than 100 foreign lawyers, judges and business professionals with an interest in American law will be on the UC Davis campus July 10-28 to attend the fifth annual "Orientation in U.S.A. Law" program at the UC Davis law school. The program teaches participants about the U.S. legal system, commercial and consumer law, taxation, labor relations and environmental law, among other topics. Law school faculty and local attorneys and judges will serve as instructors. Beth Greenwood, program director, developed the law-orientation course while she was a UC Davis law student, in cooperation with law school professor Gary Goodpaster. The program is sponsored by the law school and University Extension.
