Managing future of higher ed topic of forum talk

"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of Responsibility-Centered Management" will be addressed at UC Davis on March 12 by Kenneth Gros Louis, vice president for academic affairs and chancellor of Indiana University's Bloomington campus. Gros Louis is the third in a series of higher education leaders to speak at Chancellor Larry Vanderhoef's Forum on the Future this academic year. His talk will begin at noon in Wyatt Pavilion on campus. A medieval and Renaissance literature scholar, Gros Louis has been head of the Bloomington campus since 1988. He also has been active in the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges, serving on its academic affairs council for seven of the last 12 years and as the council's representative to the association's governing board from 1994 through 1997. The last forum speaker, UC Berkeley Chancellor Robert Berdahl, is scheduled to talk Wednesday, May 27.
