Peter Klimley, a marine animal behaviorist at UC Davis' Bodega Marine Lab, has been awarded a 1995 Society of National Association Publications Excel Silver Award in the magazine feature article category for his piece in American Scientist, "The Predatory Behavior of the White Shark."
