Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12 -- Native Americans from throughout the western United States will share the traditions of their cultures during the 28th annual Native American Cultural Days powwow on campus. Sponsored by Native American students at UC Davis, the program will include arts and crafts, music, dancing and traditional American Indian food. It is the culmination of a weeklong celebration of Native American cultures. The powwow, to be held at the Recreation Hall, is free and open to the public. Hours are 11 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Media contact: Isis Castro, (530) 752-4938 or 752-2027.
