July 8-12, Wednesday-Sunday -- More than 300 social science and biology scholars will talk about using evolutionary theory to explain human behavior when the Human Behavior and Evolution Society meets at UC Davis' Freeborn Hall. Topics to be discussed include evolution of human life histories, politics, ethics, mating strategies and economic systems. The public is invited to the meeting, which has a registration fee of $60 daily, or $175 for the entire conference.
