* Jan. 21, Friday -- The UC Davis Police Department will recognize 13 individuals, including four students, for assisting the department -- from helping an ill person who needed CPR to foiling burglaries to serving as a liaison between student organizations and the police department. Presentations at the department's seventh annual Citizen's Appreciation Ceremony will follow an 11:30 a.m. reception and a noon luncheon.
